A grandma's love for the Golden State Warriors is winning hearts online.

In aTikTok videothat has gone viral, racking up nearly 250,000 views, a woman named Justine,@hihellojustineon TikTok, shares a sweet moment with her grandma, Carmen Katindoy, picking up a notebook resting on her lap. The notebook is filled with the names of all the players on the team, along with their jersey numbers.

"I like your notebook where you have all the Warriors players," Justine is heard saying in the video, capturing her grandma's fandom in action.

Justine then tests her grandma's knowledge. When she asks about No. 21, her grandma replies Post, naming a team's center, Quinten Post. She then asks about No. 61, and her grandma replies Pat Spencer, a guard on the team.

"Oh, you know you're people," Justine tells her grandma.

Speaking to PEOPLE exclusively, Justine says that this isn't anything new for her grandma.

"My grandma is huge Warriors fan," Justin says. "She watches every single game and has been writing down all of the players and their numbers in her little notebook for years."

"This last time that I went back home to the Bay Area to visit her we were watching a game together and she had her notebook out for reference so she could confirm who she was seeing on screen," the nurse practitioner adds.

Justine thought it was cute and clever — especially coming from someone who had just turned 97. So she posted a few videos of her grandma flipping through the notebook on TikTok, figuring others might get a kick out of it too.

In one clip, Justine goes over the Warriors' current roster with her grandma. When she gets to No. 2, her grandma confidently answers Brandin Podziemski — even making a gesture to mimic his signature curly hair.

When asked who her favorite player is, she doesn't hesitate:Stephen Curry, No. 30.

"I like how she created a visual for Podziemski's curly hair 😆🧑🏽‍🦱 but of course @Stephen Curry you're her favorite player of all time — she's locked in from her bed for every single game 🏀," Justine captioned the video.

Before they knew it, the clips had gone viral.

"I was pleasantly surprised," Justine says. "My whole family was, actually. We told my grandma about her newfound virality, but she didn't really understand it at first. She's never been on social media, so we had to explain how it all worked — and why so many people were watching her video."

What struck Justine most was the response from strangers online.

"It was really heartwarming that the internet enjoyed seeing my grandma be such a big Warriors fan," she says. "But what was even sweeter was how many people started tagging the Warriors. Complete strangers who had never met my grandma were rooting for the team to acknowledge her — and the coolest part was that it actually worked."

The video eventually made its way to the Warriors' locker room, where Curry shared a heartfelt message for Carmen on the team's Instagram.

"Hey Grandma Carmen, we just want to say thank you so much for the love and support — and for following us every step of the way," Curry says in the clip. "We want to wish you a happy 97th birthday. Thanks for being the biggest Warriors fan out there, and we hope we keep making you proud."

"She was shocked and ecstatic," Justine says. "Stephen Curry is her favorite Warrior of all time — she loves watching him play. I'd even posted a few follow-up videos where she specifically says Curry is her favorite, so getting a personal message from the GOAT himself was such an honor. She even recorded a little video back, calling him her 'best Warrior.'"

"My hope is that watching this lighthearted moment inspires people to spend time with the people they care about while they still can," she adds. "Go visit your grandparents. Call them. Hug them. Watch a basketball game together. Ask about their lives 20, 30, 40 years ago, and get it on video. You won't regret it. I know I'll cherish these moments forever."
