BBC Radio 1 DJ Katie Thistleton has revealed that she was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery - just six weeks after giving birth to her baby boy. The 35-year-old, who welcomed her first child, Reuben, last month, shared with followers that she had been left in agonising pain due to a huge cyst on her ovary, which had to be removed urgently. She told her followers: 'So l'm six weeks postpartum today and was so excited to be officially recovered from c section and drive again etc 'But ended up having emergency surgery on my ovary a couple of days ago for a 16cm (huge) cyst that had twisted the ovary and tube.
