John Elway is mourning his longtime friend and sports agent Jeff Sperbeck. Sperbeck died Wednesday, April 30, after he reportedly fell from a moving golf cart four days prior. On Wednesday afternoon, Elway released a statement, which ESPN's Adam Schefter shared to X. "I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken by the passing of my close friend, business partner and agent Jeff Sperbeck," Elway's statement read. "There are no words to truly express the profound sadness I feel with the sudden loss of someone who has meant so much to me.
