Sky News Australia staff appeared to be taking in a Married At First Sight episode on Tuesday night during their 2025-2026 Federal Budget coverage. Journalist Sharri Markson shared images to Instagram of her posing in the Sky News Canberra studios while the controversial Channel Nine series was seen playing in the background. Sharri, 41, appeared oblivious to the huge TV screen behind her, which aired a scene of controversial couple Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araouzou fighting in their apartment bedroom.
