The mayor of Venice is assuring its residents and visitors that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's upcoming nuptials — which will reportedly have a star-studded guest list — will not disturb the coastal Italian city. In a statement obtained PEOPLE, the city denied reports from Italian and international media outlets that weddings organizers for the Amazon founder, 61, and former journalist, 55, had booked large amounts of hotel rooms as well as gondolas and water taxis for daily transportation.
