Sheryl Crow will never forget her very first Grammys experience. On Sunday, Feb. 2, PEOPLE spoke to the "First Cut Is the Deepest" singer, 62, on the 2025 Grammys red carpet live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles before she opened the show. During the conversation, Crow looked back at her decades-long career and shared what it felt like to win big for the first time. "Thirty years ago, here in Los Angeles," the songwriter tells PEOPLE, thinking about the night she won best new artist, record of the year and song of the year all in the same evening.
