"South Park" is bringing the year to a close with a jaw-dropping Christmas episode.
The latest "South Park" episode, titled "The Crap Out," concluded a storyline in which Trump, over the course of multiple episodes, was expecting a baby with his lover, Satan, while billionaire PayPal cofounderPeter Thielschemed withVice President JD Vanceto prevent the baby's birth.
The Dec. 10 episode began with Satan preparing to welcome the child, only to find that Trump has jetted off to South Park for a top-secret mission. Trump, dressed as Santa Claus, and Vance, dressed as an elf, were then shown in the town plotting to break Thiel out of jail. Trump, who secretly got on board with Vance and Thiel's plan earlier in the season, declared that it's "time to complete operation kill my own baby."
Satan soon found out about this and headed to South Park to confront Trump. "This child will be born, and for once, you are going to have to live with the consequences of your actions," Satan told him, but Jesus made a dramatic entrance to save Trump and Vance.
Satan then went into labor, but in a shocking twist, a doctor at the hospital discovered from an ultrasound that "at some point, when nobody was watching, the baby hung itself and took its own life."
Vance proclaimed it's a "miracle," and Trump celebrated with a Christmas party at the White House, where he walked up to various attendees and happily announced, "Happy holidays! The baby's dead!"
"The Crap Out" capped off a headline-making five months for "South Park," which made waves in July by kicking off its new season with asurprisingly brutal parody of Trump. The premiere of Season 27 introduced the idea that Trump was romantically involved with Satan, and a subsequent episode revealed Satan was expecting his baby.
Since July, every single episode of "South Park" has featured not only Trump himself, but various members of his administration, who have become recurring characters and in every case were depicted unfavorably.Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noemwas a gun-toting dog killer; Vance was Trump's manbaby servant; andAttorney General Pam Bondiwas a literal "brown-noser," depicted with feces on her face.
In perhaps the most shocking moment of the season, aNovember episode featureda graphic love scene between Trump and Vance in the Lincoln Bedroom.

This has represented a major escalation for "South Park," which in the past avoided parodying Trump himself and had one of its own original characters stand in for him.
But while Trump is known to frequently complain about comedians who criticize him, the president has notably remained silent about "South Park," refraining from posting about the show's recent spoofs on Truth Social. A White House spokesperson, though, said in July that"South Park" "hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention."
Speaking toThe New York Times in November, "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker explained they initially began spoofing Trump in July because they sensed there was a fear of speaking out against the current administration. But while they initially expected Trump to only be in one episode, they decided to keep it going.

"It's not that we got all political," Parker told the outlet. "It's that politics became pop culture."
No more episodes of "South Park" are scheduled beyond this week's, and it hasn't been confirmed when the series will be back.
