'Tis the season to break out all the holiday classics — including movies.
If put on the spot, you might find it difficult to choose your single favorite Christmas film of all time. Most of the time, fans respond with, say, their top five.
On that note,Melissa Joan Hartrecently spoke withParadeas December fast approaches and shared about which movies she and her family hold dear to their hearts.
"I actually, legitimately, have on my phone a note that probably has every Christmas movie I've ever heard of on it," the actress and producer, 49, toldParade. "It's got the little, you know, we call it like 'check marks.' I can see what we watched last year. I'll delete that and... when we start watching them, and then I'll start checking them off what we've watched."
Hart continued, "My top three, I would say, are reallyElf, I think,Home AloneandChristmas Vacation. Oh, and you got to throwScroogedin there, too...It's a Wonderful Lifeis always on Christmas day, and'Twas the Night Before Christmas— the cartoon is always the night before Christmas, right before the kids go to bed."
Fans might know Hart best from her days onSabrina the Teenage Witch. When speaking withParade, she confirmed thatshe still stays in touch a number of co-starsto this day.
"[Last] weekend, I was with the guy who played Harvey and one of the character actors who played Roland for three episodes. We were at a Comic-Con together," Hart said. "Last week, I went to visitNick Bakay, who was the voice of the cat but also one of our writers. I went to visit him on the Warner Bros. lot when I was in LA. I talk to [Soleil Moon Frye] almost every day.Elisa Donovan,Alimi Ballard… Literally, we're like a family… I would say it's like cousins."
