Miss Universe president Raúl Rocha issued an update on Miss Jamaica's health on Monday, Nov. 24, following her fall from stage during the preliminary evening gown round at Miss Universe in Thailand on Nov 19
Gabrielle Henry has been hospitalized since the incident, and her sister previously said that she wasn't "doing as well as we would have hoped"
In the new update, Rocha wrote, "we are pleased to share that the latest medical report confirms that Dr. Gabrielle Henry is in good health and nearing discharge"
Miss Jamaica, Gabrielle Henry, is still recovering after her shocking fall during the2025 Miss Universe pageant.
On Monday, Nov. 24, the Miss Universe Organization shared an update on Henry's health after shefell off the stageduring the preliminary evening gown round at Miss Universe in Thailand on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
"The Miss Universe Organization wishes to address recent speculation by providing a clear and respectful update regarding Dr. Gabrielle Henry Miss Universe Jamaica 2025," the organization's president, Raúl Rocha, wrote in a statement shared onInstagramby the official Miss Jamaica team.
"Out of respect for Dr. Henry and her family, the Organization maintains strict discretion regarding specific details of her medical status," Rocha continued. "We believe that matters concerning her health should be communicated only at the appropriate time and solely at the family's discretion, or by Dr. Henry herself should she choose to do so."

Rocha added that "immediate action" was taken when Henry, 28, fell off the stage.
"I personally entered the stage to assist her, coordinated urgent medical attention, and oversaw her immediate transfer to the hospital," he said. "I was present at the emergency room alongside her family, with whom I spoke directly."
"I recommended a series of precautionary actions, some beyond standard protocol, to guarantee the most accurate evaluation, monitoring, and medical oversight," he continued. "Additional medical specialists were also brought in to provide multiple professional assessments and ensure full clarity regarding her condition."
The president also said that the Miss Universe Organization has taken all hotel, hospital and travel expenses from Henry and her family during this time.

"Over the past four days, there have been difficult moments and unexpected concerns," he wrote. "However, thanks to the excellent medical care provided, each issue was successfully resolved."
"Today, we are pleased to share that the latest medical report confirms that Dr. Gabrielle Henry is in good health and nearing discharge," Rocha added. "We will continue to communicate only essential information with professionalism, sensitivity, and respect."
He concluded, "While unfounded speculation has circulated publicly, our full attention has remained on Dr. Henry's care and recovery. We are grateful that she is now close to being released from the hospital."
Following her fall, Henry was seen being removed from the pageant on a stretcher.
PEOPLE previously reported that Henry's sister Dr. Phylicia Henry-Samuels, and their mother, Maureen Henry, are by her side in Thailand.
Henry-Samuels said in a statement at the time, "Gabbyisn't doing as wellas we would have hoped, but the hospital continues to treat her accordingly."
It was also reported that she would need to stay in the intensive care unit (ICU) for a minimum of seven days as "doctors continue their close monitoring and specialized care."
