The "Queen of Christmas" Mariah Carey is back — though not without a little drama!

While many people were celebrating Halloween on Friday, Oct. 31, the "Fantasy" singer, 56, declared that "it's time" for the holiday season with a new Instagram video showing herself butting heads with an enigmatic elf, played by comedian Billy Eichner.

The hilarious video kicks off showing the pop star in an angel costume with white wings as she says, "Halloween slayed, but now it's time!" The camera then panned to her vanity to reveal a Sephora bag — teasing her new holiday brand deal — knocked over with some items missing.

"Spill the tea. Who's the thief?" Carey asks as the camera then shows Eichner dressed as an elf as he attempts to carry several bags out the door.

He then tells the Grammy winner, "Bad news, Mariah Carey. The elves are striking this year. Elf revenge for putting us through holiday hell. Santa's helper quit."

"I'm pawning all this so I can afford elf therapy," Eichner, 47, adds as he holds up his bags.

"Christmas is canceled — no bells, no cheer, no glam," he says. "Bye, sweetie."

"You can't cancel Christmas," Carey responds before showing off some holiday magic by freezing Eichner with her voice and turning him into a snowman, as her outfit transforms into a Santa Claus bodysuit complete with ruby red sparkles and a white fur lining.

The clip transitions to show Carey on the back of a sleigh directing reindeer as her iconic "All I Want for Christmas Is You" song plays in the background. She can then be seen dropping Sephora bags down chimneys as an animated Eichner exclaims, "Oh, I'm a snowman now, just great!"

The clip ends with a shot of Carey's sleigh gliding around New York City's Statue of Liberty with the words "It's time" written above it in golden letters.

Carey captioned the video, "It's Time!!!🎄🎁."

The video isn't the only surprise for the star, as she revealed that she has partnered with Sephora this year for her latest holiday run — which prompted quite the response from fans and other celebrities.

"Oh I know that check was enormous!" TV host Kalen Allen joked in the comments section, while British makeup artist Pat McGrath, who sells items at Sephora, chimed in, "Yessss❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!! Beyond!"

The post comes after Carey shared a Halloween photo of herself and her 14-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, as they celebrated the spooky holiday overseas in Japan. The popstar wore a white and blue dress with hot pink hair styled in two ponytails. Her kids both sported similar Kigurumi onesies.

"Happy Halloween from Japan!!! 👻🇯🇵," Carey captioned the Instagram post.
