We're almost smack dab in the middle of The Great British Baking Show's 16th season. It's Week 5 and at the end of the episode, only seven contestants remain. So who gets tripped up during the ever-classic Chocolate Week? After last week's elimination of fan favorite Jessika, it feels like no one is safe, except for maybe Jasmine who has been named Star Baker twice already this season.
Judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood put the amateur bakers through their paces once again, with hosts Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond attempting to deliver the laughs during the stressful challenges. Here's how things went down, and which contestant had a bittersweet ending to both Chocolate Week and the competition.

Who went home from The Great British Baking Show 2025 this week?
Nadia
Sadly it was Nadia, a 41-year-old hairdresser from Liverpool, who was eliminated from The Great British Baking Show 2025 in the fifth week of the competition.
In her exit interview, the home baker admitted she was disappointed not to continue, but eager to return to her kids.
"Me daughter said mum you are good at baking you should go on that, and I didn't think anything of it, I just did it," says Nadia. "I have had the best time and made some amazing friends, it's been unreal."

Who won Star Baker in Week 4 of The Great British Baking Show 2025?Aaron
Breaking Jasmine's two-week winning streak as Star Baker, Aaron received the coveted title for Week 5. The 38-year-old London-based Senior Systems Architect navigated each of Chocolate Week's three challenges with creativity and precision, earning him the win.
What were the challenges this week on The Great British Baking Show 2025?
The show celebrated (almost) everyone's favorite sweet treat with Chocolate Week, featuring the three customary challenges: signature, technical and showstopper.
For the signature challenge contestants were tasked with making fiddly mousse cups. What, pray tell, is a fiddly mousse cup? Think of a hardened chocolate shell acting as the cup or bowl, filled with a delicious-looking (and tasting) mousse.
The technical challenge had the bakers making a white chocolate tart, but they were thrown into chaos with the items made available to them to bake with. Then, the show stopper challenge was creating a chocolate fondue display, sending the contestants into overdrive to create the most impressive, most elaborate one.
Who's left on The Great British Baking Show 2025?
There are just seven contestants left vying for the title of Britain's Best Amateur Baker in 2025. They are:
