George Foreman famously named all five of his sons George. The Butts family went a similar route but extended it to their daughters also.
Carolyn Cousin and Cameron Butts of Virginia have six kids whose names are creative variations of the same root, "Cam":
Camryn, 9
Cameron, 8
Camreon, 6
Carmyn, 4
Cam'Ron, 2
Camarion, 7 months
Before he even became a dad, Butts, 32, knew that if he had a daughter, he wanted to share a name with her, which became Camryn.
"Then a year later, we had a boy on the way, and we needed a junior, right?" Cousin, 31, tells TODAY.com. "With number three, we decided to switch two letters, so that's Camreon. And we just kept going."
After Cousin introduced her "six pack," as she calls them, on TikTok, the video quickly went viral drawing thousands of reactions, many of them questioning the choice.
"Girl please say ur kidding," one person wrote.
Added another, "There are enough names in this world that no one in the same family should have to share one with their siblings. This should be illegal."

To Cousin, the criticism is baffling; she views the tradition as a lighthearted family legacy.
"Girl Camryn even looked at TikTok and was confused by the comments," Cousin says. "She always says to me, 'We love our names.'"
Although all of the Butts children have nicknames, it's not strictly necessary. "When I use their full names, they know exactly who I'm talking to," Cousin explains. "Somehow, it just works out!"
Meanwhile, Cousin's kids don't just have unusually matchy first names, they also share the unmistakable last name Butts. Their mother notes that, so far, they haven't faced any teasing, though she admits she nearly set Camryn up for a lifetime of ridicule by accident.
"I wanted her middle name to be Love," Cousin recalls with a chuckle. "And when I told her, she look at me and said, 'Do you mean to tell me I would have been Love Butts?'"
Looks like Camryn narrowly avoided becoming the butt of the joke.
