Joaquin Phoenix was moved to tears after the audience's enthusiastic reception to his new movie Eddington at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday. The 50-year-old Oscar winner, who was the victim of a recent burglary, stood silently taking in the praise which he shared with co-stars Emma Stone, Pedro Pascal and writer-director Ari Aster. According to Deadline, the movie received seven minutes of applause from the Cannes audience. Video provided by Vanity Fair showed those tearful moments, as the camera passed from Stone to Pascal to the emotional Phoenix.
