Taggart star and 'mother of Scottish film' Paddy Higson dies aged 83
Film producer Paddy Higson has died at the age of 83 following a battle with cancer. Her children Michael, Chris and Frances announced the news in a Facebook post on Monday, revealing she was 'surrounded by love' in her final hours. Alongside an image of their mother, they wrote: 'Yesterday evening our mum's battle with cancer reached its inevitable conclusion and she passed gently away surrounded by her family and so much love.
