Keanu Reeves to Make Surprise Return to John Wick Universe in Chapter 5 and an Animated Prequel
At CinemaCon on Tuesday, April 1, Lionsgate revealed plans for John Wick: Chapter 5.Keanu Reeves will reprise his role in the action sequel, as well as voice the character in a newly announced animated prequel movie.The last John Wick film came in 2023, and Ana de Armas leads a new spinoff Ballerina, in theaters this June. Keanu Reeves is doubling down on more John Wick movies. The actor, 60, will reprise his role as the titular assassin in John Wick: Chapter 5, Lionsgate announced at CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas on Tuesday, April 1.
