San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has confirmed that he will not be returning to coach the team during the 2024-25 season. Popovich has been away from the team for the past three months after suffering a stroke back in early November that led to a prolonged leave of absence and an indefinite break from working the sidelines. In his place, Mitch Johnson has been serving as the Spurs' head coach on an interim basis.
