Kim Basinger unknowingly inspired a beloved sitcom! In 1989, the actress, now 71, purchased a town in Georgia for $20 million, only to sell it a few years later for a fraction of the price. Fast forward to 2015, when Dan and Eugene Levy used her story as inspiration for Schitt's Creek — and Basinger is just now finding out. "Who knew? I love that show," Basinger told Variety in a recent interview.
