With an increase in catastrophic plane crashes in North America since the first of the year, many fliers are nervous to step on a flight, but an expert told DailyMail.com they shouldn't be. Captain J. Joseph, of Alabama, said it's still safe to fly, even with that appears to be an increase of crashes. Since the first of the year, a flight to Washington DC killed 67 people, a medical trip out of Philadelphia exploded, and a Delta Airlines plane overturned upon landing on a snowy runway in Toronto, among others.
