While Rachael Kirkconnell might not have received Matt James' first impression rose on his season of The Bachelor, she did receive his final rose. Their relationship on the show was not without its struggles, however. As the season was airing, racially insensitive photos from Kirkconnell's past surfaced and caused strife in their relationship as James was the franchise's first-ever Black Bachelor. After a brief breakup, the couple were able to work things out.
