K.C. Amos is responding to his sister's speculation of wrongdoing in John Amos' August death. On Dec. 25, Shannon Amos' lawyer, James H. Davis III, told PEOPLE that she hired legal counsel to investigate her father's death after alleging that her brother, K.C., was guilty of elder abuse. In a press release, Davis stated that Shannon is seeking information about John's admission to Centinela Hospital, his condition at the time and details from the LAPD and Adult Protective Services regarding their investigations based on Shannon's past complaints.
