Dear Jane, My wife and I have been together for three years and married for just over one. We have a lot in common – except when it comes to politics. We live in Pennsylvania, so we know plenty of Democrats and Republicans – and everything in between. I enjoy having a broad range of friends, regardless of where they fall on the political spectrum. I've always known that my wife is liberal but it has never really been an issue, mostly because we met soon after the last election.
