Nevertheless, the studio has since switched off feedback on its last four promotional TikToks, including this controversial teaser.

'Wait, this is presupposed to be Amy Winehouse?' Nik Davies questioned on X where the video was reshared, with Kalina replying: 'Amy I'm so sorry.'

'I genuinely consider anybody concerned in making this film must be arrested,' tweeted Bradley Stern.

Taylor-Johnson's directorial decisions have been questioned as the clip was in comparison with a Saturday Night time Reside sketch.

'The clips of that Amy Winehouse film is p**sing me off because why would they let that woman butcher songs like that? It's like a SNL skit but worse,' scathed Cassidy.

One anonymous consumer referred to as the whole thing 'a multitude' but noted that Abela is 'gifted' just 'not giving Amy in the slightest'.

Sharing a video of Winehouse singing Again to Black, Maria vented: 'It's a unique music, however Amy Winehouse was such a gifted and emotional performer and this film doesn't seem to capture any of that.'
