Declan Rice admits he's been 'really stunned' by Gabriel Magalhaes since joining Arsenal.
Rice made the move to the Gunners final summer time in a £105 million deal from West Ham and has slotted in seamlessly into Arsenal's midfield.
However the England worldwide recognises that his personal acclimatisation has been helped by the performances of Arsenal's first-choice centre-backs William Saliba and Gabriel.
And Rice says the aggression and mentality proven by Gabriel has taken him unexpectedly.
When requested about Saliba and Gabriel within the build-up to Arsenal's 4-1 win over Newcastle on Saturday, Rice informed TNT Sports: 'I can't converse highly sufficient of them, I'm not going to take a seat right here and lie.
'I feel Saliba is unbelievable, clearly heard about all the speak of him earlier than I come right here and the one who's really stunned me is actually Gabriel.
'He's so aggressive, so robust, really needs it on a regular basis, never loses a duel.
'Once you've received two centre-backs like that who need it, play aggressive, it actually helps and provides you confidence.'
