"Hi, my name is Peter Parker," Holland narrates the trailer. "You don't remember me, but we used to know each other. Something bad was going to happen, and the only way to stop it was to make everyone forget about me, because I'm not just Peter Parker. I'm Spider-Man. But sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing, even if it breaks Peter's heart."

Peter isn't just nursing a broken heart, either—his spider abilities are put to the test as he finds himself between cycles, making him vulnerable in the process. Peter asks for help from Dr. Banner and appears to have some allies left, but is faced with threat after threat before he restores his full power.

The Reaper drones were lost either to Iranian missiles or were destroyed on the ground by incoming fire.

98th Academy Awards - Show

The ratings are down 9% from last year's post-pandemic high of19.7 million viewerswho tuned in for O'Brien's inaugural year as host, when "Anora" swept the awards. The show also yielded a more significant 14% decline from last year in viewership from adults aged 18-49.

Sunday's Oscars saw a showdown between two Warner Bros. films, "One Battle After Another" and "Sinners," with the formerwinning best picture and director. Michael B. Jordan won best actor for "Sinners," the most nominated film in history, with 16, that also broke the record for the most losses by a single film, with 12.

And yet despite the dip in audience, the Oscars are still the No. 1 primetime entertainment telecast of the 2025-2026 season. The Golden Globes, which aired on CBS in January, drew an audience of8.7 million viewerswhich was itself down 7% from the year prior.

Engagement for the Oscars rose by other metrics, though. Primetime social impressions went up over 42% this year. And there were over 129 million video views on Academy social platforms throughout the night.

The Oscars, like many other awards shows, saw an all-time low in 2021 during the pandemic with only 10.4 million viewers. At its height in the 1990s it often attracted around 45 million viewers. Its peak came in 1998, when "Titanic" won best picture and 57.2 million people watched.

Broadcast ratings will no longer be a metric of the success for the Oscars in 2029, when the showmoves to YouTubefor its 101st awards.

Bob Barker's 'Beauties' and former “The Price Is Right” producer recount on-set culture of sexual harassment

Though the CBS game show has promised fun for the whole family since it began its run in 1972, several women who worked on the show insist that the work environment was far from family-friendly. In a clip from E!'s new docuseries,Dirty Rotten Scandals, Kathleen Bradley and Holly Hallstrom detail some of the behavior that made life very difficult for them and their fellow models (nicknamed "Bob's Beauties"), back when the show was hosted by Barker.

"When I initially started the show, everybody was pretty cool, really friendly, especially the crew," Bradley began. "But over a course of time, I kind of noticed the guys were kind of talking, looking, gawking at the girls. I found out this is a little more commonplace than I thought."

Barbara Hunter, who came aboard as a producer just a few years into the show's run, said that such bad behavior wasn't just targeted at the models.

"It became common knowledge to stay away from this person or stay away from that person," she said of her own experience. "There was stuff going on where you had to say, 'Hey, stop that.' One time, I was in the elevator and one of the men just stuck their hands right on my boobs. I had to push him away."

She added, "I didn't say anything. It became instinct to know how to handle it."

Bradley recounted a similar experience, sharing that there was "one guy in particular" who was "too friendly" with the women.

"He would rub up against us, joking around. It's totally inappropriate," she explained. "I learned the stagehand had been around on the set for a long time and was probably doing it to all the other girls."

Bradley claimed that when she took the issue to the show's producers, nothing changed. "To my surprise, no action was taken," she stated. "I was really taken aback. This was really sexual harassment. So I took matters into my own hands."

Bradley recounted a day when there were golf clubs on set, prompting her to call over the offender for a demonstration.

"I said, 'Do you know how to play golf?' He said, 'Yeah, I play a little bit. Come here. Let me show you,'" she recalled. "So I let him get behind me. And I backed up and accidentally hit him right in the groin — accidentally on purpose, that was."

She added, "We were so exhausted and tired of the treatment. You just have to do what you have to do."

Hallstrom then criticized Barker, the show's host of 35 years who retired in 2007 anddied at 99 in 2023after battling Alzheimer's. The former model claimed that if anyone complained to Barker, who she said was "in charge of the show," that he would tell her "to get over it or look for a new job."

The women shared that the complaints eventually did make their way up the ladder, but claimed that CBS' solution was to institute a "10-Second-Rule" stating that no one was allowed to "openly stare at a model for more than 10 seconds."

Hallstrom slammed this move as "a joke," explaining, "There was no one monitoring how long the guys were staring at the models… It was an appeasement. They did things that made it look like they were taking action, so you will stop complaining and go away."

She added that the situation grew more complex after Barker allegedly began an affair with model Dian Parkinson, one of the longest-serving models on the show.

"It took a toll," she said of the relationship. "There was fighting on the sets, yelling, and it was massive. And it ultimately, I think, destroyedThe Price is Right."

Entertainment Weeklyhas reached out to representatives at CBS for comment.

Barker hostedThe Price Is Rightfrom its premiere on Sept. 4, 1972 through his June 2007 retirement. Across that period he won 14 Daytime Emmy Awards as the show's host and four more as an executive producer, in addition to a lifetime achievement Emmy in 1999.

Barker did face a few public scandals relating to the show's on-set culture, though they had little impact on his popularity as the face of the beloved game show. In 1994, Barker was sued for sexual harassment by Parkinson, prompting him to publicly confirm their affair, claiming that she initiated the relationship. Parkinsondropped the lawsuita year later, stating that it was hurting her health.

Hallstrom later publicly called out Barker andThe Price Is Right, claiming that she was dismissed from the show because of slight weight gain caused by her prescription medication. Barker denied the allegations, though Hallstromstands by her claimsin the upcoming docuseries.

Trump

Mullin, an Oklahoma senator, has spent 13 years in Congress and has emerged as a close ally of the president's. If confirmed, he would replace outgoing SecretaryKristi Noem, who wasfired earlier this monthamid mounting criticism of her leadership of the Department of Homeland Security.

The hearing will be the first opportunity for lawmakers and the public to hear directly from Mullin about how he intends to run the third-largest department in the Cabinet. The sprawling department, with a workforce of roughly 260,000 employees, oversees a diverse mission set of responsibilities ranging fromprotecting the presidentfrom a bullet to helping states recover from disasters todeporting people in the country illegally.

Mullin isa former mixed martial arts fighterwho ran a plumbing business in Oklahoma before running for Congress. He has in the past indicated support for immigration operations, and he's expected to be a faithful ally for Trump's agenda if he is confirmed for the top job at DHS.

"Whether it be protecting the homeland from bad actors, stopping dangerous drugs from flowing into American communities, or removing the worst-of-the-worst criminal illegal aliens, Senator Mullin will work tirelessly to implement the President's agenda," White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said in an emailed statement Tuesday.

The president's immigration agendaand how Mullin intends to execute on it is expected to be a key line of questioning as Democrats drill down into Mullin's views. The hearing comes asthe president's mass deportations agendais at a crossroads, and Mullin will face pressure to reach the president's lofty deportation goals when the public mood has soured over the aggressive way immigration enforcement operations have been carried out.

Anger over the Trump administration's immigration enforcement tactics has prompted Democrats torefuse to fund DHSuntil it makes a series of changes to its officers' conduct.

In an opening statement released ahead of the hearing, Democratic Sen. Gary Peters of Michigan, the ranking member on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, said the Democrats were asking for "straightforward" reforms in line with rules police departments follow. Peters underlined the challenges that Homeland Security is facing from threats from Iran to criminal hackers and said the department needed someone with a "steady hand." But Peters said he had "reservations" about whether Mullin was ready to assume such a significant role.

As the latestpartial government shutdowndrags on, there have been long security lines at a growing number of U.S airports as security screeners go into another month without pay. Republicans have repeatedly charged that Democrats are risking the nation's national security by blocking funding to the department.

Under Noem, intense enforcement operations were launched in places including Los Angeles, Chicago and Minneapolis, where immigrants were rounded up in arrest sweeps and protesters clashed with federal officers.

Activists and politicians accused DHS officers of smashing car windows, roughing up bystanders who tried to record their activities anddetaining immigrants in squalid conditions. The shooting deaths of two protesters —Renee GoodandAlex Prettiin Minneapolis — contributed to swelling criticism of Trump's immigration agenda.

Homeland Security has said that its officers are responding with force only when necessary and have blamed activists and politicians, who they say are dialing up the rhetoric against their officers.

Mullin also will likely face questions about the future of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, which is in the middle of a tumultuous reform process after Trump said he wanted tooverhaul it, if not eliminate it.

Noem led a Trump-appointed FEMA Review Council that wasset to recommend sweeping changesto how the federal government helps states, tribes and territories prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters. The reforms had the potential to drastically reduce federal support for disasters and put more responsibility on local jurisdictions.

Meanwhile, under Noem's leadership, all contracts above $100,000 had to wait for her approval. That led to long delays for states desperate for reimbursements for money they'd already spent on things like storm debris removal.

After two acting administratorsleft FEMA during Noem's tenure, the agency is still without a permanent head.

Trump said he was making Noem a special envoy for a new security initiative that would focus on the Western Hemisphere. Noem thanked Trump for the appointment and touted her accomplishments as secretary, saying she made "historic accomplishments" at DHS to make America safe.

Associated Press writer Gabriela Aoun Angueira contributed.
