Priscilla Presley shares rare photo with grandkids, Lisa Marie's husbands

Priscilla Presleyis displaying her family's solidarity as they face what her lawyers have called"outrageous allegations" in civil lawsuits.

In a Dec. 22Instagram post, the Presley family matriarch – the former wife of the lateElvis Presley– shared a photo of her blended family, including her three granddaughters, gathered around a dinner table.

Presley captioned the picture: "Holiday 2025 & unbreakable family bond."

The undated photo shows longtime family friend Jerry Schilling's arm wrapped around Priscilla as herlate daughter Lisa Marie Presley'sfourth husband, Michael Lockwood, stands behind them. Lisa Marie's first husband,Danny Keough, is seen standing next to Lockwood with his right arm around the man and his left arm around daughter Riley Keough, who is holding a baby in her arms.

The 36-year-oldreportedlywelcomed hersecond childwith husband Ben Smith-Petersen earlier this year.

The rare family photo comes a week after Priscilla's lawyer blasted "shameful" claims made in one of several lawsuits that she and other members of her circle are battling. She has been locked in a legal back-and-forth with Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, former business associates whomshe accused of elder abuse and misappropriationof more than $1 million of her funds in a July 2024 lawsuit.

Within a month of taking this legal action,Kruse and Fialko sued Priscillafor more than $50 million in damages, alleging she'd breached their business contracts after they spent a year "(devoting) themselves full-time to assisting, repairing, stabilizing, and improving Presley's financial situation."

On Dec. 17, after the duo brought forward claims about John Travolta andlate wifeKelly Prestonpaying Riley Keough for her eggsin an amended complaint filed in their ongoing lawsuit against Priscilla's son Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, Priscilla's legal team slammed Kruse and Fialko's conduct.

"After losing motion after motion in this case, and unsuccessfully seeking to have Presley's counsel of record, Marty Singer, disqualified from representing her in this matter, Brigitte Kruse, Kevin Fialko, and their co-conspirators have demonstrated that there is no bar too low, no ethical line that they are unwilling to cross in an effort to deflect from their significant liability to Priscilla Presley," Singer said in a statement to USA TODAY.

"In a completely improper effort to exert undue pressure on Presley to retract her legitimate, truthful claims, Kruse and her co-conspirators have also sued Presley's son, cousin, and assistant," the statement continued. "These recent outrageous allegations have absolutely nothing to do with the claims in this case. The conduct of Kruse, Fialko, and their new lawyers (they are on their fourth set of attorneys) is shameful, and it absolutely will be addressed in court."

Representatives for Keough and Travolta did not respond to USA TODAY's request for comment.

Who are Priscilla Presley's grandchildren?

Lisa Marie Presley was married to Danny Keough from 1988 to 1994 and welcomed their first child, Riley, in May 1989. Three years later, son Benjamin Keough was born; hedied by suicideat age 27 in July 2020.

Lisa Marie and Michael Lockwood were married from 2006 to 2016; their twin daughters were born in October 2008. A few years after the divorce was finalized,Lisa Marie diedfroman intestinal blockageon Jan. 12, 2023.

Chevy Chase says he was 'hurt' by “SNL” 50th anniversary special exclusion: 'Why was I left aside?'

When it comes toSNL50: The Anniversary Special,Chevy Chaseis saying "bah humbug" this holiday season.

In CNN Films' upcoming documentary,I'm Chevy Chase and You're Not, the actor and originalSaturday Night Livecast member opens up about how his lack of involvement in the special earlier this year "hurt" him.

"Well, it was kind of upsetting actually," Chase said. "This is probably the first time I'm saying it. But I expected that I would've been on the stage too with all the other actors. When Garrett [Morris] and Laraine [Newman] went on the stage there, I was curious as to why I didn't. No one asked me to. Why was I left aside?"

Referring to the evening's "Weekend Update"-themed segment, he asked, "Why was Bill Murray there and why was I not? I don't have an answer for that."

Chase, of course, served as the first-ever anchor of the segment back when he starred as a main cast member onSNLduring its debut season in 1975 through the middle of the following season in 1976. He would go on to host eight times between 1978 and 1997, and make numerous guest appearances.

Referring toSNLcreator Lorne Michaels, Chase said in the film of his exclusion: "I did bring it up once in a text to Lorne and then took it back. I said, 'Okay, I take it back, silly.' But it's not that silly. Somebody's made a bad mistake there. I don't know who it was, but somebody made a mistake. They should've had me on that stage. It hurt."

Though he wasn't a direct part of theSNL50special, Chase didreceive a brief shoutout from Jimmy Fallon duringSNL 50: The Homecoming Concert, which occurred days before the main anniversary special. He also attended the taping of the special itself, he just didn't have an active role anywhere in it.

But, according to his wife, Jayni, Chase was supposed to have more of a part to play in it. She shared in the film, without naming names, that people "told Chevy up until that day that there were two bits, they were going back and forth."

"And then, all of the sudden, 'No, there's no bit,'" she added.

Michaels himself seemingly confirmed this in the documentary, saying, "There were a couple versions of ['Weekend Update'] and we went back and forth on that. There was also a caution from somebody that I don't want to name that Chevy, you know, wasn't as focused."

Reps forSNLdidn't immediately respond toEntertainmentWeekly's request for comment Tuesday.

Next round of torrential rain moves in to Southern California, with evacuations planned amid rare ‘high risk’ of flooding

A major storm that began moving into Southern California overnight is set to deliver months' worth of rain and powerful winds — the most potent in a slew ofatmospheric river-fueled storms aiming for the region this week.

It's coming hot on the heels of a storm thatkilled at least one personand brought intense flooding to Northern California over the weekend.

The new storm was starting to slam the entire California coast from north to south with rain and wind Tuesday night.

Torrential rain will get underway in Southern California very early Wednesday morning and continue through the evening.

A Level 4 of 4 "high" risk of flooding rain is in place for the region Wednesday, including more than 6 million people in portions of Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, according to the Weather Prediction Center.

These high risk flooding events are incredibly significant: High risks are issued on fewer than 4% of days per year on average, but are responsible for more than 80% of all flood-related damage and36% of all flood-related deaths, WPC research shows.

Wednesday's high risk is Southern California's first since February 5, 2024, whendisastrous floodingkilled at least two people and triggered more than 100 mudslides.

"Widespread and significant urban flooding will be likely along with rock/mudslides and debris flows," the National Weather Service in Los Angeles warned early Tuesday morning, noting these threats are not just confined to burned areas.

"THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS HOLIDAY STORM," the NWS continued. "ANYONE TRAVELING ON CHRISTMAS EVE OR CHRISTMAS DAY WILL NEED TO EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION."

California Gov. Gavin Newsom mobilized state resources ahead of the holiday week storm, with agencies pre-positioning crews and equipment, the governor's press officesaid.

Rainfall rates could exceed 1 inch per hour at times in the earliest hours of Wednesday morning, especially in the Santa Barbara and Los Angeles county mountains. That's more than enough to trigger dangerous flash flooding and potentially mudslides.

Life-threatening debris flows are possible on recent burn scars, including from January'sEaton and Palisades fires, that could be pounded with those torrential rainfall rates. The scorched ground of these scars repels water instead of absorbing it, quickly turning rain into a surge of floodwater that pulls mud and debris with it.

Los Angeles County on Monday announced evacuation orders and warnings for areas in and around burn scars in the greater Los Angeles area, including the Eaton and Palisades fire zones. The deadly blazes were two of California'smost destructive fires in historyand burned a combined 16,246 structures, according to CalFire.

The orders are for 383 properties that sheriff's deputies are directly reaching out to, including going door-to-door, the county Office of Emergency Management said Monday. These evacuation alerts went into effect at 11 a.m. PT Tuesday morning.

Evacuation warnings were also issued in parts ofVentura County, with an evacuation order for the Ventura Beach RV Resort going into effect at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Evacuation orders go into effect 8 a.m. PT Wednesday for some areas near the Airport Fire burn scar inOrange County. Parts ofSanta Barbara Countyare under evacuation warnings, including some areas within the Lake Fire burn scar.

Strong winds will add to the danger by potentially bringing down trees and power lines. Winds will be most ferocious in the region's mountains, where sustained winds from the south of 30 to 50 mph are possible with gusts to 80 mph.

The holiday danger doesn't end there: Another atmospheric river-fueled storm will follow Thursday and continue into Friday. It's raising a Level 3 of 4 flooding rain risk for more than 15 million people, including many in Wednesday's high risk.

Steve Schklair and his family, who live in a warning area for debris flow and mudslides, recently moved back into their home in Altadena, which they spent almost a year rebuilding following the fires, he told CNN affiliate KCBS.

But the family will not be evacuating because they live in a "lucky spot" and will instead spend Christmas hunkered down at home, Schklair said.

"All the mud flows — and it does flow — (go) around the house and down the street, never comes up here," he told KCBS.

All told, rainfall totals in Southern California through the end of the week could be as much as 4 to 8 inches in coastal and valley locations, while foothills and mountains see 8 to 12 inches.

To put those totals into perspective, a city like Los Angeles could see anywhere from two months' worth of rain to nearly half a year's worth in just a week.

The same abundant moisture set to slam Southern California will also fuel feet of snow farther north in the Sierra Nevada and make travel there difficult or impossible at times.

The heavy snow will be a big change for the region, which has had much less snow than usual to start the season.

Some relief from this nonstop stormy pattern looks to finally arrive for the upcoming weekend.
