<p>Armando Vidal won $1 million from playing the California Lottery's Triple Red 777 Scratchers game when he was homeless</p>

<p>Vidal learned he won that amount after a store manager asked him, "What are you going to do with a million dollars?"</p>

<p>The San Luis Obispo man now plans to find a permanent home, adopt a couple of dogs and invest some of his winnings</p>

<p>A homeless man who won $1 million from playing the California Lottery's Triple Red 777 Scratchers game initially thought he had won $200.</p>

<p>However, when Armando Vidal brought his winning scratch-off ticket into Sandy's Deli & Liquor in San Luis Obispo in April to confirm his winnings, store manager Wilson Samaan asked him something he couldn't believe.</p>

<p>"What are you going to do with a million dollars?" Samaan asked Vidal, a regular at the store, according to a California Lottery press release.</p>

<p>A surprised Vidal recalled replying at the time, "I was like, huh? And that's how I found out that I'd won a million dollars."</p>

<p>The store manager eventually drove Vidal to Fresno, where the California Lottery office is located, to verify and claim his winnings.</p>

<p>Now, three months later, Vidal revealed how he plans to spend the money he won from buying two $5 scratch-off tickets.</p>

<p>"Vidal is working to secure a place to go home to, with a bed, a couple of dogs, and he also plans to invest his winnings to keep the money coming in," the California Lottery shared in its release. "After his win went viral in April, Vidal also plans to keep a much lower profile in the future."</p>

<p>Vidal also told the lottery organization that he had become homeless after an injury left him unemployed in Santa Maria in 2008.</p>

<p>After that, Vidal moved to San Luis Obispo and became a regular at Sandy's, where years later he bought his winning lottery ticket.</p>

<p>"I just can't wait to get off the streets," Vidal said in April, as seen in a video posted to Instagram by local store Thrifty Beaches.</p>

<p>A Florida man was arrested last week for allegedly threatening on X to kill "EVERY ONE" on what he believed was the Jeffrey Epstein client list, charging documents unsealed Monday show.</p>

<p>Terrell Bailey-Corsey allegedly posted the threats on X last Tuesday, seemingly reacting to a response from X's AI agent Grok that disputed any such client list exists, as the FBI and Justice Department recently confirmed.</p>

<p>"Well @grok you're wrong. Everyone involved if I see them in real life I will KILL. On sight," Bailey-Corsey allegedly said. "I will KILL EVERYONE ON THE LIST. ON SIGHT. AND THEY ABSOLUTELY DESERVE IT."</p>

<p>Roughly an hour after that post, Bailey-Corsey posted another message singling out three government officials -- unnamed in the charging documents -- saying he would "KILL YOU ON SIGHT."</p>

<p>"IT'S TIME TO START KILLING POLITICIANS ON SIGHT," he added minutes later.</p>

<p>Prosecutors detailed multiple other concerning messages they say were posted by Bailey-Corsey over the next several days, including a video posted where he threatened another unnamed government official.</p>

<p>News of Bailey-Corsey's arrest was first reported by CourtWatch.</p>

<p>A public defender listed as representing Bailey-Corsey did not immediately respond to a request for comment from ABC News.</p>

<p>As of Monday afternoon, Bailey-Corsey had not yet made his initial court appearance according to court records, and had not yet entered a plea.</p>

<p>Epstein, a wealthy financier and convicted sex offender, died by suicide in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking of minors.</p>

<p>A sentencing hearing is scheduled to take place Monday for Brett Hankison, a former Kentucky police officer who was convicted in the death of Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old emergency medical technician.</p>

<p>Taylor was shot and killed on March 13, 2020, during a botched drug raid authorized by the Louisville Metro Police Department. A Louisville detective at the time, Hankison, 46, was found guilty last November of violating Taylor's civil rights while executing a search warrant on her home, which resulted in the tragedy.</p>

<p>A federal jury in Louisville convicted Hankison on one count of civil rights abuse. He was accused of depriving Taylor of her constitutional rights when he, separate from other officers with him at the scene, used excessive force to fire multiple shots through a sliding glass door and window on the side of her building, despite both being covered by blinds and curtains.</p>

<p>The jury found that Hankison used a dangerous weapon when he committed the offense and that his actions involved an attempt to kill, although the shots he fired did not strike Taylor, the U.S. Department of Justice said after his conviction. He initially faced a second count for allegedly depriving Taylor's neighbors of their constitutional rights, as his bullets pierced through the walls and narrowly missed a family of three in the adjacent apartment, but jurors found him not guilty on that charge.</p>

<p>Hankison had pleaded not guilty to each of the charges. After his conviction, the Justice Department requested in a sentencing memo that he serve just one day in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, something civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who represents Taylor's family, called "an insult to the life of Breonna Taylor and a blatant betrayal of the jury's decision."</p>

<p>"This sets a dangerous precedent," Crump said in a statement responding to the memo. "When a police officer is found guilty of violating someone's constitutional rights, there must be real accountability and justice. Recommending just one day in prison sends the unmistakable message that white officers can violate the civil rights of Black Americans with near-total impunity."</p>

<p>Taylor's death sparked a national outcry and contributed significantly to a period of public reckoning that followed over what critics said was systemic racial injustice and police brutality in the U.S. After she was killed, police found no evidence of narcotics inside of her home.</p>

<p>Evidence presented during Hankison's trial showed that he and two colleagues, former Louisville officers Jonathan Mattingly and Myles Cosgrove, arrived at Taylor's home at 12:45 a.m. on the night of the fatal shooting, while she and her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, were asleep. Believing intruders were breaking into the residence, Walker fired one shot from his own gun toward the officers he had mistaken for civilian trespassers. The shot wounded Mattingly and prompted all three officers to open fire into the apartment.</p>

<p>Two other Louisville officers, former detective Joshua Jaynes and former Sgt. Kyle Meany, also face charges over Taylor's death. Jaynes and Meany are charged with federal civil rights offenses and obstruction of justice for their involvement in the preparing and authorizing an affidavit for the search warrant that ultimately led to the shooting.</p>

<p>Another former Louisville officer, Kelly Goodlett, has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy for helping Jaynes and Meany obtain the warrant. Trials for Jaynes and Meany have yet to take place.</p>

<p>TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran tested one of its satellite carrying rockets with a suborbital flight on Monday, state media reported, the first such test since a ceasefire was reached after a 12-day war waged by Israel against Iran in June, which also saw the United States strike nuclear-related facilities in the Islamic Republic.</p>

<p>The test was the latest for a program that the West says improves Tehran's ballistic missiles.</p>

<p>A report by the official IRNA news agency said the Ghased satellite carrier test aimed at "assessing some emerging new technologies in the country's space industry." It said the test results will help improve the function of Iran's satellites and space systems.</p>

<p>The report did not provide any further details on the test flight or from where the rocket was launched.</p>

<p>Iran from time to time Iran launches satellite carriers to send its satellites to the space. Last September, Iran launched a satellite into space with a rocket built by the country's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard.</p>

<p>The Ghased, a solid and fluid fuel rocket, was first inaugurated in 2020 by the Guard when it put a military satellite in the orbit.</p>

<p>The war in June killed nearly 1,100 Iranians, including senior military commanders and nuclear scientist. Retaliatory missile barrages by Iran killed 28 in Israel.</p>

<p>It's been 533 days since Taylor Swift has released an album and new social media posts by the singer's company have the fandom running amok with theories that new music is imminent.</p>

<p>On July 18, Taylor Nation posted a new archive section of her website that includes 15 tabs for each of her albums (11 original recordings and four rerecords). Under each era are awards, concerts and 13 photos of the singer from the time. Swift's "Speak Now" song "Mine" was used in reference to Swift buying back her masters and regaining complete ownership over her entire discography.</p>

<p>"The best thing that has ever been ours is finally home," the caption read.</p>

<p>While fans scoured every pixel of the website update for clues to her next project, Taylor Nation posted a second carousel referencing the artist's first era.</p>

<p>"Welcome home, self titled," the account captioned. "Everything we need is finally right here by our side and to celebrate, stream the album with us at 1pm EDT today."</p>

<p>Fans flocked to Stationhead, a streaming site to congregate, chat and simultaneously listen to her first album. Some influencers like Ty Wilson theorized that she would drop the rerecorded version of her debut era, which she admitted in a letter to fans is complete.</p>

<p>"I really like how it sounds now," Swift teased.</p>

<p>On July 19, Swift's team posted another listening party for her second album, "Fearless." Instead of streaming at 1 p.m., the party would start at 2 p.m.</p>

<p>On July 20, they announced a listening party for her third album, "Speak Now," at 3 p.m.</p>

<p>And like clockwork, on July 21, they highlighted her fourth album, "Red," with a listening party at 4 p.m.</p>

<p>What's unknown is how the countdown will unfold and what, if anything, it's leading to. One could surmise it will go like this:</p>

<p>July 22: "1989" at 5 p.m.</p>

<p>July 23: "Reputation" at 6 p.m.</p>

<p>July 24: "Lover" at 7 p.m.</p>

<p>July 25: "Folklore" at 8 p.m.</p>

<p>July 26: "Evermore" at 9 p.m.</p>

<p>July 27: "Midnights" at 10 p.m.</p>

<p>July 28: "The Tortured Poets Department" at 11 p.m.</p>

<p>However, the singer's team may stop at a "Reputation" listening party, because the posts keep teasing "welcome home" and only her first six albums were purchased back from Shamrock Capital.</p>

<p>Another question is will the countdown include the rerecorded versions of "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," "Red (Taylor's Version)," "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" and "1989 (Taylor's Version)"?</p>

<p>Taylor Swift fans failed to manifest 'Reputation' news at American Music Awards</p>

<p>What fans think it could mean</p>

<p>As Wilson pointed out in one of his theory videos, in the caption of the post about her first album, the singer's team included a lyric from her 12th song, "I'm Only Me When I'm With You": "Everything I need is right here by my side."</p>

<p>He believes she may be hinting to her 12th era and adds Thursday's date of 7/24 adds up to 13 (7+2+4), which is a metric the singer has used in the past for announcements.</p>

<p>On the third post, fan Tyler Conroy said, "the countdown is countdowning..."</p>

<p>Reagan Baylee added, "OK HI OFFICIAL COUNTDOWN HELP 🤡🤡🤡."</p>

<p>It's possible Swift is reliving the Eras Tour as a countdown to a documentary series or movie about the tour. Fans spotted camera crews following the singer from Europe back to North America last year with the majority of production cameras at her final stop in Vancouver.</p>

<p>Fan Kelly Ann offered a frustrating scenario: "I swear to god if all this is just a countdown to a merch drop."</p>

<p>The hoopla could also lead to nothing. The fandom went down a mythologizing blackhole for two years thinking "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" would be announced at the tail end of the Eras Tour, at the Grammys, at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and at the American Music Awards.</p>

<p>Swift said in her letter, "Full transparency, I haven't even re-recorded a quarter of it" and "there will be a time (if you're into the idea) for the unreleased vault tracks from that album to hatch."</p>

<p>The mom of five shared the news on Instagram, writing that her pregnancy "isn't in the plans" she and husband Jep Robertson had laid out for their daughter</p>

<p>However, Jessica said that their family is "blessed" to be growing again</p>

<p>On Sunday, July 20, Jessica Robertson shared that her 18-year-old daughter Priscilla, whom she shares with husband Jep Robertson, is pregnant, announcing the exciting news on Instagram. In a series of photos, the teenager can be seen wearing a pink tank top dress that accentuates her growing bump.</p>

<p>"Me & Jep are excited to welcome another new grandbaby in October. Priscilla will give birth to our granddaughter & we are blessed to add another grandbaby," Jessica wrote in her caption.</p>

<p>Jessica and Jep are parents to five kids — Lily, 22, Merritt, 20, Priscilla, River, 16, and Gus, 9.</p>

<p>Priscilla's happy news follows a baby boom for the family. Jessica and Jep's older daughter Lily welcomed her baby son Winston this past February with husband Austin, while their second oldest daughter Merritt is expecting her first baby this December with husband Tyler.</p>

<p>Back in June, Jessica announced the happy news that her daughter Merritt is expecting, sharing a series of photos on Instagram. In the sweet photos, the 20-year-old and her husband could be seen posing outside, holding a series of sonogram photos.</p>

<p>"Over the moon to announce another grand baby on the way!!! Baby girl due December 2025!!🩷," the proud mom of five wrote in her caption.</p>
