Marital home of Russell Brand and Katy Perry asks $275K/month amid rape conviction

The Hollywood Hills hideaway that Katy Perry and Russell Brand bought as newlyweds is up for grabs at an eye-watering $275,000 a month, just as Brand’s own fortunes hit rock bottom in a London courtroom.

A jury found the 51-year-old comic guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault after a four-week trial at Southwark Crown Court in London on Thursday. He was acquitted on two other rape counts and one count of attempted indecent assault.

Brand, who had been free on bail throughout the proceedings, was taken into custody ahead of a Monday sentencing hearing, and the judge made clear a prison term is coming. London’s Metropolitan Police also confirmed that two further rape allegations against him remain under investigation.

More than 5,000 miles away, the gated spread the former couple once owned is hunting for its next deep-pocketed tenant.

Known as the Park Hill Estate, the 3-acre compound at 8159 Hollywood Blvd. is back on the market barely a month after it was leased at the same sky-high rate. Depending on the season and what’s drawing crowds to town, the rent can soar to $395,000 a month, according to brokers.

That makes it the most expensive rental ever asked in the Hollywood Hills, brokers say. Only one listing in the region commands more, a $500,000-a-month pad on Lawlen Way in Beverly Hills, according to Serhant broker Patrick Michael. He shares the listing with Sarah LaRose Doumani of LA Estate Brokerage, who is married to the estate’s owner, Las Vegas hotelier Lorenzo Doumani. The pair exchanged vows on the property’s grounds.

Perry and Brand shelled out $6.5 million for the perch in 2011, roughly a year into their whirlwind marriage. But the couple never actually moved in, Lorenzo said. The pop star instead used the place as her private wellness retreat for yoga and Pilates, and even slept in a greenhouse on the property that has since been knocked down. When Brand bought the place, Lorenzo said, the greenhouse was in shambles.

The marriage fizzled fast. Brand filed for divorce at the end of 2011, and the split was finalized the following year. In 2013, Lorenzo scooped up the estate for $5.56 million, leaving the exes nearly $1 million poorer on the deal.

The house itself has a pedigree that goes way beyond the Perry and Brand saga. Real estate developer C.F. DeWitt built it in 1923, and music industry trailblazer Ralph Peer later called it home, throwing bashes that lured Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr., Lorenzo said.

In more recent years, a who’s who of A-listers has passed through the gates, sources told The Post. Drake, Adele (who threw a birthday bash there), Daniel Kaluuya, Kevin Hart, Lewis Hamilton and NBA stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Jimmy Butler have all spent time at the estate.

Lorenzo gave the century-old property a top-to-bottom overhaul.

“We took the roof off the home and redid the entire property. It would have been easier to rebuild from scratch, but the trick was to maintain the architectural integrity of the home,” Lorenzo said.
