Shakira caused a stir among fans when she seemed to completely disregard the theme of the 2025 Met Gala as she walked the red carpet in New York City. The 48-year-old Colombian singer–songwriter arrived in an eye-catching bubble gum–pink gown for the fundraising celebration on Monday. But the theme of this year's gala is 'Tailored for You,' which is inspired by the Spring 2025 exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.
