On Thursday, May 8, NBC announced more of its renewal plans for the upcoming 2025-2026 season, with Law Order officially returning for its milestone 25th season. Law Order: SVU is also getting the green light for yet another record-breaking season. Season 27 will see the departure of the series' showrunner David Graziano, who helmed the show from season 24 through season 26.
