In May 2023, the Amazon founder got down on one knee and proposed to the Emmy-winning journalist during a summer vacation in Europe. She told Vogue in December 2023 that she "blacked out a bit" when he showed her the 30-carat engagement ring. Though the couple have been hush-hush about the details, the former TV anchor said during a November 2024 appearance on Today that she was approaching wedding planning as most people do.
