He describes himself professionally as a British and Mexican passport holder with a robust understanding of the airline enterprise and "18 years of experience" in several airlines and a level in business administration.

He has also labored for Lufthansa, American Airways and Star Alliance.

The UK's Overseas, Commonwealth and Improvement Workplace has been approached for a comment.
Qatar's human rights and migrants' rights report was on the centre of controversy over its internet hosting of the last World Cup.
