Just before the last WNBA season tipped off in May, Clark, 23,lovingly roasted Hull, 26, and Sophie Cunningham, commenting, "Little less tanning. A little more bball ladies," on their glowy media day picture.
Now, Hull is telling PEOPLE she wants her fair-skinned Fever teammate to join her in tanning.
"She definitely jokes about it," Hull tells PEOPLE at the Glamour Women of the Year event. Clark will "make comments here and there," she says, "but it's all in good fun."
Hull says she and Cunningham, 29, "gave her a hard time back" after Clark's comment, adding, "she could probably use a little sun herself!"

The Fever were riddled by injury last season, losing both Clark and Cunningham before the postseason — but they still outperformed expectations, nearly beating eventual champs Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals. "This year was definitely a year of growth. We faced a lot of adversity with injuries — at one point, almost half our roster was out — but that helped us grow closer."
Hull tells PEOPLE she's "really grateful for Caitlin" as she looks back on the season. "She's one of my best friends on the team, and it's been amazing growing together and chasing the same goals."
"We just have such a natural connection," Hull continues of Clark. "We push each other in practice but also have so much fun, it's a good balance of competitiveness and friendship."
And off the court, Hull is looking forward to continuing planning her wedding to fiancé Will Matthiessen. "We haven't had too much time to dive into the details yet, but it's been fun so far," she says. "That's probably the hardest part trying to plan while we're both so busy."
When she does tie the knot, Hull says she'll definitely have some of her Fever teammates at the ceremony. "They'll definitely be at the wedding, but we'll see about the bridal party lineup," she shares.
